National Association of orthopedic Technologists
The mission of the National Association of Orthopedic Technologists (NAOT) is to enrich the quality of health care delivered by Orthopedic Technologists and to promote initiation and ongoing educational advancement of the orthopedic technology profession. Membership is limited to ROT's & OTC's or those eligible to take either exam.
The National Association of Orthopedic Technologists will fulfill its mission by: 1. Being the primary advocate of the orthopedic technology profession for future legislative advancement towards professional STATE LICENSURE.2. Re-establishing teaching programs / career centers to formally educate those individuals pursuing employment in the orthopedic technology field by partnering with the 160+ orthopedic surgical resident programs. Future Orthopedic Technologists can train side by side with orthopedic surgical residents. 3. Providing advanced continuing education opportunities that directly align with the professional development needs of current Orthopedic Technologists.
